A Message on the HINI Virus and Columbus State’s Response

Columbus State Community College is committed to maintaining a healthy campus community. To help achieve this goal, we need student assistance in reducing the impact of both H1N1 and seasonal flu viruses. Please review the following information.

Columbus State Community College officials are actively monitoring the H1N1 virus formerly known as the Swine Flu. We are in communication with officials from Columbus Public Health, monitoring the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) site for updates and are watching for any illnesses on campus.

Columbus State and Franklin University Sign agreement

Thanks to a new agreement, its easier for Columbus State Community College students to finish their bachelors degrees at Franklin University.

Under the new agreement, announced March 2, students can take three years of classes at Columbus State, then transfer to Franklin University for a fourth year and graduate with a bachelors degree.

Columbus State is proud to announce the upcoming groundbreaking of our Delaware Campus. The new Delaware Campus is a testament to our commitment to providing education where you live, on your schedule.

The 108-acre site is a former Scotts Miracle-Gro testing field. The site currently has two buildings, which we expect to use for administration and equipment. We are also building a 86,600-square-foot classroom building, known as Academic Center E. We have sketched out plans for eight other buildings, while preserving stands of trees already on the site.
